Like, do you think hes mean, honest or nice?

I like him, and I guess I like him because he is honest and to the point. He is in the music business and really knows what he is talking about.
What is the point in not telling the truth as it is, sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind.
In the music business or any other entertainment business you are going to get a lot worse comments then what he says, so if you can take it, and learn from it, you will sure be tougher to cope with that industry. Press is far worse.
Yes he does sometimes go a bit OTT but the show would not be huge if he wasn't on it judging.

I think he can be a little mean. I think you should be honest about peoples singing ability but to comment on something a person can't change is just plain mean. The monkey thing last night was uncalled for.

I think he's very full of himself, however I like him. I did not like him at all until I saw him interviewed with the music group he put together, called, "Il Divo". It's obvious to me he has true talent for recognizing star quality and for music. The video is called, "Il Divo, Encore". I can't say enough good about them, their music is incredible. Simon does have a very human side to him. He's very professional. I think TV is part him and part an act. I can deal with him now.

He is honest and hillarious! Love him!!
If people want to get into the music "industry" they need to have a thick skin AND hear the truth as soon as possible.

I think he is brutally honest & cuts thru the crap. He says what most of us are thinking like it or not.
