My x box 360 will not connect to live i got the ip adress to be confirmed but the DNS is not working. the primary and secondary dns on my computer tell me what they are but when i type it in on my 360 it always fails. also i have not gotten this far in the set up yet but it says MTU,ICMP, xbox live and NAT. what should i do?

make sure ethernet from 360 to router and router to modem. and make sure u have broadband. and if that doesnt work call microsoft support get the number from xbox.com. and theres also a written section there on xbox.com

Go to www.xbox.com/setup and it will give you step by step instructions on how to connect. The same thing happened to my cousin and we went to that website and connected easily.

are you kidding? all you do is plug one end of the ethernet cord into the xbox, and the other end into your router/modem/hub. it's not that hard. after that your all set up and ready.
