During 2007 there will be two solar eclipses, both partial so they may not be very noticeable when they occur unless you look up. They will be on Mar 19 and Sept 11.
The one in March will be visible in eastern Asia and parts of northern Alaska.
In September the second partial eclipse will be visible in parts on Antarctica, South America, and the South Atlantic.
If you want to know more about eclipses (like lunar for instance) I got the info by doing a search for solar eclipses on google and clicked on the first link and it took me to some NASA site.

take a pack of cards and remove all the picture cards.
now deal out 12 cards, in a circle, clockwise and face up.
Let your mind be drawn to one of the cards.
If you go round clockwise from that card, reading the numbers out loud.
You will get the date and the time of the next eclipse.
Unfortunately this system is not much help if you need to know where the next eclipse is.
For that you need some other method.

Whenever one happens. After you see one you realize its not really anything special. The northern lights never get tiring though.
