i got a cat form an old lady for free and i spent over 150$ on supplies on him. i found out i have allergies and i had to get rid of him immediatly. i tried selling him for 150$ to pay for the items that would be included with the cat. a lady told me she wanted him and didnt have the money. i was desprite and told her to come get him and we gave her about 100$ worth of the things. we keept some of it because we have a small dog that can use it. she is now egging me to send her everything else. and i told her no and why but she wont shutup about it. what should i do??

Okay first thing first next time you do this keep the Receipts and have her write out that she owes you the money. Now she did not pay you anything at all! She owes you not the other way around. The only problem is that you will not get anything from her because you can't prove that you paid for all the supplies you gave her. You need to tell her that you bought these things and in good faith you gave her 100 dollars of things for her to use with the cat. She shouldn't be asking for anything more. Tell her that if she is willing to pay the whole $150 than you will give her the rest of the things. Right now you are using it with your dog.
There is no real way to prove that she owes you 100 dollars. Right now it's the whole she says/she says crud. Just tell her that if you have already been kind in giving her $100 dollars Worth of stuff free. IF she wants to pay you $150 than she can have everything you bought.
Look old ladies have a tendency to take from others because they think they can. I am not saying all elderly do but some do.
Good luck bye!

If this is regarding your parent(s), there is a high probability that you are the one in the wrong.
