Aww, that sucks!?!?

If that's true, I guess you could tell your Dad and he could sue for discrimination!?!?

That is the kind of case that you can take all the way to the Supreme Court if you wanted to, well depending on your country. If you live in the United States, these are essentially the rules:

- 5. May a student say grace before eating his lunch?

Freedom of speech includes the freedom to pray. Students may bow their heads to pray before tests.

-Public school students have the right to express their religious beliefs in public school under the First Amendment right of free speech. 'Congress shall make no law ... abridging the freedom of speech.' As noted in Widmar v. Vincent, 454 U.S. 263 (1981), the law is well settled that religious speech, even prayer, is protected free speech under the First Amendment.

wow....i never heard of anyone getting suspended for praying at school. I've done it several times and nothing happened to me. Were you loud about it? Or were you quiet and said it to yourself?
We had moments of silence at my school and that's sorta like praying.*I'm out of high school now and in college*

If you weren't being loud or drawing attention to yourself, even if it was distracting, i would fight it. You do have freedom of religion. Heck, you get off of school for Christmas and Easter, and those are religious holidays.

If you were praying silently, you should not have been suspended. If you were "praying" out loud, you were just seeking attention, and you should be suspended for not following directions.

Surely you prayed out loud. I find it hard to believe that they would suspend you rather than talk to you about the 'rules'.

Keep on praying and let them suspend you again. Don't give up the fight. There is this little thing in the constitution called freedom of religion so you are protected by the constituion and by God so keep it up.

rejoyce...

that is what the word of God says to do...

Keep in mind that the people who ejected you from school, are actually rejecting Jesus. It is not an attack on you, but the Spirit that is within you...

Pray for them... ask God to help you to forgive them completely, and don't stop your prayer life... God will handle things for you, just be still and watch what He does for you, to show you that He is with you, and that He loves you very very very much...

Now for somebody who asked a question about what is better for men interested in S & M, leather or lace, I think you are just here to rile the religious up. Go soak your head.

Maybe the school authorities were insulted that you felt that you needed to pray (were you AFRAID of something?)before eating the wonderful repast that they had provided for you.

Just a guess!

Thank you, come again!
