mtf & not ftm. Is there a medical or scientific reason? I've seen pictures of both & you could never tell that they were once the opposite sex, heck some of the mtf's are prettier than me & some of the ftm are really nice looking guys. I just hear of so many more mtf's & I was just curious as to why? Please if you're a bigot or gay basher don't answer this question, God will deal with you at another time.

As a transsexual it is easier for a M to F they are both very difficult transformations but SRS is a little easier for a M to F so there are alot more Male to female Transsexuals

Great question

I think that a lot of FTMs found shelter in the butch lesbian community. Many are realizing though that that isn't truly who they are and many more FTMs are transitioning now. Many others are "ahead of the curve" and defining themselves as genderqueer instead of just picking one of the standard gender roles like many MTFs currently.

The SRS ... .sex reassignment surgery for FtM is not as successful as MtF. There is also more invasive surgeries for FtM in breast removals. All around it is more difficult.

that is a good question
maybe the woman is more comfortable living as a woman
even tho she feels she is a man
probably because society is more likely to overlook the masculine female than the feminine male

Potentially because more men want to get off the "king of the hill" perch than women want to get up on it. -- if you believe it's an environmental cause

Genetically, I have no idea for the seeming imbalance.
