I remember seeing Child's Play at the theater. Everyone in there, and I do mean everyone, were laughing their azzes off. It was quite an hilarious movie! The only ones that creep me are Freddy. He's too weird for me.

i imagine the wave of undesirable sequels to this movie make you seem lower back and picture that all and diverse the Friday thirteenth video clips were all garbage - the first one actually wasn't. that is likely more effective influential on the slashers that suggested than Hallowe'en (it truly is heavily in debt to Black Christmas BTW) as they tended to diminish the suspense and up the gore, while Hallowee'en has an truly low gore content fabric. once you've disregarded this movie that is def well worth a revisit, with some sensible performances (ok and some undesirable ones too), good high quality Tom Savini consequences, a amazing twist and a real wonder ending

Anything after those initial few films got pretty silly. From 1972 to about 1985, some of the most influintial films of that genre were made. After years of the same ole same ole, this is what you get.Last House on the Left,Maniac,Martin...good stuff.

Totally! I think that those movies are so funny! I was watching one with my dad and he was so scared he almost peed his pants. I laughed at him and he was angry that I wasn't scared, or something. I don't know why parents get SO protective over their kids watching movies! I mean, the movies aren't even that scary, except for like 2 parts of the movie!

No! They scare me. After Play Misty For Me I had to stay up all night. And The Texas Chain Saw Masacre was terrifying. And as for The Shining....

it depends on how you view the movie if you want it to be comedy like if someone gets there hand cut off the way that their faciel expression is my be funny to you but to someone else it my be scarry which would make it horror/suspense.
