I don't know why people are getting all insane about global warming. It is a THEORY, and an unfounded theory, at that. There is no evidence to support it. If you look at the science, you will see that quickly. Icecaps melting? WRONG. a couple are melting, but as a whole, they are getting BIGGER. yeah, that's right. polar bears dying? nope, the indigenous people up north say that there are more today than there have been ever in recorded history. The media just gets video clips of some clumsy polar bears falling into the water and claims that they are all drowning because of- you guessed it- global warming.
If you want all of the info, read State of Fear by Michael Chrichton.
Yes, it is a fictional story, but all of the facts and statistics in the book are real. There is a huge bibliography in the back so you can do further research yourself. Global warming is a myth to scare people. Terrorism, however, is a real threat to the world- just look at 9/11, and that is just about all the proof you need, not to mention the bombings every other second in the middle east and all over the world.

Global warming is caused for the most part by the sun being hotter . Terrorism is caused by humans. So even if it i a bigger threat there is little you can do about it. Terrorism is a threat that can be fought against. The comparison doesn't hold up very well.

The scale of terrorism is blown out of the water by the media and government to keep everyone scared and under control.
Whereas, global warming is now generally believed by scientists to be a serious threat that will likely lead to far more deaths than terrorism ever could. Imagine 1 billion dead instead of a few thousand like at 911

Not really. Global warming of course (if it is happening) will be the cause of more warfare and terrorism because Nations being affected will respond by invading territory where they will consider it to be safer or to repel refugees they don't want.
For every intellectual that espouses one thing you will find another who does not agree.

Yep. Terrorism can only kill a few of us. Global warming has the potential to kill the planet. Maybe not tomorrow but one day our grand kids will look back on our inability to tackle it and describe us as "lazy c@@t's" which of course we are.
