good god - haven't you seen the list of who is running from both parties. Homer Simpson becomes the logical choice in that field.

It's only a matter of time before we elect a fictional character. Make no mistake, before TV and radio, our first celebrities in America were war heroes. George Washington was a war hero as well as a sleu of other presidents. Then came Television and we elected JFK (our first president on TV) and from that point on people wanted glamour. Reagan, an actor, Jesse Ventura- a wrestler, Arnold (need I say more). Our government is over-run by celebrities- soon we'll be watching the people's choice awards from Capital Hill.

First Lady Betty Ford went to rehab- Lindsay Lohan went to rehab (it's a stretch but it stands to reason...)

It is only a matter of time before we elect personalities and people who deliver the bad news in a good way; ie- fictional characters. Hence, the push for the Colbert/Stewart ticket popularized mid last year.

Personally I'd like to see a dog in office because if he dies, we can switch it with a dog that looks just like that dog and chaos will not ensue.

Could he really do any worse than any other president? He's too stupid to take bribes, to loyal to cheat and just crazy enough that the rest of the world would pee themselves if they made him mad.
Sounds like a 100% landslide to me.

Considering the other choices, he couldn't be any worse...(yes i KNOW he's only a cartoon character, that's my point.)
