It seems like when I was a kid, the main food at birthday parties would be either hotdogs or pizza *LoL*. Which did you have? Did you have something different?

Nope it was pizza or hot dogs But it depended on the time of year....cause if it was a summer birthday it was usually hot dogs on the grill.... if it was a winter party it was usually pizza or sometimes if the parents wanted to spend some money they had a party at McDonalds!!

Pizza was a winner, but occasionally there would be something out of the ordinary, like going to another restaurant, or having hamburgers!

For my birthday parties we usually barbecued, burgers and hot dogs. It is in July, so I guess my folks thought an outside mess was better than an inside one :)

When I was a kid ice cream and cake had only recently been invented. Once we sorted out how to eat the ice cream...it was great! ; )
