My car started doing that too. It could be a number of things... Your axle could be out of line and your car can't control itself. It more than likely is your breaks though. It could be your break pads but since it's coming from your rear, the other side is probably picking up the slack and causing your car to shake. Also, your tires just might be able to stop at the speeds you are driving. Take your car in for maintenance and you should be fine. It's okay, as long as it's not the axle. That's where the big problems will appear.

start with tires possible bad belt in tire,put the back ones on the front, if front now vibrates it's the tires.also have rear brakes checked,or it could be a bent rim on back tires even a minor wobble could get worse at higher speeds

at that speed it is a tire balance issue or a slipped tire belt or a bent rim.

sounds to me like it is your steering stabilizer, when a steering stabilizer goes bad it allows the vehicle to shake vigorously.
