Well I must say you have chosen a highly marketable degree in education. What you can teach is based on what grade level your degree is based. You can teach 4-8 science which generally consists of General Science, Life Science & Earth Science. In the higher level grades, there are several factors that are dependent upon what you may teach. In grades 9-12, what you may teach is based upon which science area you specialized in - such as physical & earth science, physical & life science/biology, physical & chemistry, physics & chemistry, environmental science and so forth. In the high school level, you specialize in a certain science area and then receive your teaching credentials to teach that area. If you have just a general bachelor degree in science education, you would probably be best fit for the mid-level grades, unless of course you specialized in a particular area, and then you could teach high school.

Do some research online or preferably, go to the career center at your alma mater and see if you can meet with a career counselor. Some colleges do this for alumni for either some cost or nothing at all; depending on the type of college.
