Diets high in protein are associated with osteoporisis, because the excess protein interferes with the storage and use of calcium in the body. Multiple studies have shown the correlation. Cultures which would be considered extremely protein deficient, such as several African tribes like the Bantu, have almost no incidence of it, while cultures where the protein intake is high have very high rates of it. The Eskimos traditional diet consists of primarily fish and the bones, which would make you think they should have some of the healthiest bones going, but in fact they have one of the highest rates of osteoporisis. The long term effects of excess protein intake on the kidneys is still in debate, although if you have any sort of kidney disease it would be harmful. Protein molecules are very large and filtered out by the kidneys, which can tear the filter portions and decrease function over time. While a body builder or athlete can benefit from a slightly higher intake of protein than normal, there isn't really any evidence that very high levels are of any real benefit. My advice to you would be to remember moderation is the key to all things health-wise. There are no true wonder foods out there, no miracle supplements, that can do everything all the time. There are no bad foods either, only things we should eat in smaller amounts less frequently than others. The human body was designed to require and use a variety of nutrients, and does not do well when we exclude one class or intake extreme amounts of another. Moderation is really the key for health in the long run.

As you know, the body metabolize what we eat by breaking the large food particles into small molecules that can be used in the body.
This process(metabolism) produce the substance the body wants + waste product, which is ( uric acid ) in this case of amino acid metabolism.
Increased uric acid level in the body may result in uricemia and gout which produce joint pain.
In the case of workout, you need extra protein to rebuild the mucle you train.
Protein- diet is useful method to supress apetitie and then result in weight loss.
My wishes to you of healthful life.
