God knows the future, but the fact that he knows the future does not mean that free will is revoked.

Actually, this is a genuinely good question.
I commend you for asking it.

God is mysterious. I wonder if time travel were truly possible- wouldn't the contents of history books always be changing? Perhaps that is how it is with God. He can see what will happen, but sometimes, the outcome of future events alters. But God apparently can SEE the changes that take place before they occur.

It does seem that there would be a connection between God knowing the future and the possibility that free will is illusory, but I have never heard anyone cogently articulate what the precise connection IS.

So basically, God knows what is going to happen, but mankind does not. Perhaps, however, even if all future events are predicated on the past, the present, our genetics, our proclivities, environment, nature as well as nurture, and other factors still, this would not nullify free will on its own.

Although this is merely my opinion, we do have free will. It would not make sense that God would punish the wicked and reward the just at the end of time unless we are, indeed, free agents. We must have choices in order to be justifiably held accountable for our selections.

Simply because even knowing the end results. God does not want a group of robots just following his orders. God what you to follow him of your own free will.... And believe this or not that will help you in teaching others the truth about what God is really offering in the way of salvation and what you stand to lose without salvation.... A robot can never feel and see the real potential in that... Also to follow someone blindly does not mean that you can understand why this or that is really happening..................... So in this case free will is very important in the process of gaining of wisdom...................................................

God doesn't interfere with what people are doing otherwise you wouldn't be here asking such a stupid question. Free will has nothing to do with God being All Knowing.

Most Christians are too dumb to understand this question.
God knows everything, even the decision you are GOING to make, tomorrow, in 10 years time, etc. Free will is not possible, because supposively God knows everything, has plan for everyone, and KNOW what path you WILL choose already. He planned it. What ever you do or choose is part of his plan. Even satan is part of his plan.

Because God knows that if we're good we will freely choose the right path, but if we're bad we would freely choose to fight against the right path

this question is rly simple.
God is all knowing.
but he gave us the freedom of choice. because he didnt want to force any decision on us. he did that so that we wouldnt love and obey him out of fear, but out of love. we have the desicion to do that.
