Well, one of the oldest and best Batman imitators, anyway. And don’t forget his Oriental aide, Karate, (a copy of the Green Hornet’s Kato) in the 97 episodes produced by Bob Seeger and voiced by Hal McFadden
Another very funny but short lived campy Bat-takeoff was Batspy, put out by the University of South California ‘Pelican’: Bobolink Weemer, a mild mannered editor, man about town and bon vivant. Together with his sidekick Robin Kuryakin, who became Fatty Acids, the responded to the call of 92 year old ex admiral M, to fight Joker-Thunderball.

he is alot older than 40 he debuted in detective comics 27 in may 1939 (67yrs old) and no not the original (superman june 1938) but definately the best!
