It is obvious where you are going with this question, it's their daddy who is sending all of these kids to war, why not his own. Granted, every single one of us Americans owes national service to the USA. I'm not sure of the details of that law, it might only be males, or maybe females can serve some other way. Anyways, the government chooses whether it wants to draft people or not. At this point in time, the US government is happy enough with the amount of people volunteering that it doesn't feel the need to draft people. (There is a recruitment problem though).
The key issue this asker seems to be missing is that the United States military serves as an economic launching board. Just as much as those who serve are often not so wealthy, the military does a service to those who are not so wealthy. Any kid who grows up in horrible conditions can still work hard at school, get good grades, and earn a military scholarship. Even if he forgoes college, that kid will go into the military, get a job and career skills, and use that to climb the socioeconomic ladder. The rich kids might not need that, but from what I can think of, the military is really our society's most obvious means of bringing a person from the lower to the middle class.

Do you pay for the actions of your father? The Bush daughters have nothing to do with it. Presidents have sent volunteers to war time and time again. I don't agree with the war in Iraq, however, people who signed up for the military knew that there was a chance at any time that they could go to war. Did they believe that they could just get free training and college funds for nothing? If that was the case, everyone would sign up to get in shape, regular free meals, room and board, and a paycheck.
Besides, the Bush twins are hot. Send them over to my place if you're going to send them anywhere. By the way, the word is "too" not "to" if you mean "also."

Bush wanted a war, so he got a war. Maybe HE should play his part in defending our fair country alongside his daughters. He sends America's sons & daughters to Iraq, therefore his daughters should also be a part of defending the country.

thank you sir for reminding me that there are nonetheless genuine human beings obtainable who've some training and elementary experience under their belt. After being in this board for greater or less an hour im placing out to lose wish in u.s.. I blame the wide-unfold public college device.

Well, while I think that would be justice for Bush starting the war, I'd hate to punish his daughters for something that wasn't their fault. We should just send Bush over there himself.

If they are serving in the military and have been trained for combat then I don't see why we shouldn't. However, to send them over without any former training just because you want to be hateful and vindictive is just wrong.

I FULLY AGREE WITH YOU ON THIS!!! ITS SOOO FUNNY BECAUSE MY MOTHER AND I WERE DISCUSSING HOW BUSH SHOULD SEND HIS O W N DAUGHTERS AND BUSH OVER THERE TO DEFEND THE COUNTRY...HE PROLLY DOESNT EVEN KNOW HOW IT FEELS TO LOSE A LOVED ONE TO THE WAR!
