Her father abandoned her.
Her twin sister is a polar opposite to her, and they are not close.
Her half brother wasn't discovered until well into the show, beyond the point of her using the "trump card" as you call it.
Her grandmother died in the first season.
Etc, etc, etc.

Yes, she had all of that family at one point or another, but none of it was consistent, and most of the true family she had was developed over the course of the series. I think you're trying to make something of nothing as a point of conversation.

Well, the mother she thought was her mother killed herself, & her dad left. I don't think she got along with her sister really, I'm pretty sure she didn't even know about her brother for most of her life, the three children, I'm guessing you're talking about those are the triplets she gave birth to, well those were really her brother 7 sister-in-law's kids, and is the 2nd husband ur talking about Mike? Cuz she only got married to him in like the last season. I'm not sure bout her grandmother & 1st husband. but I do remember her saying her grandmother's name was Nestle Tollhouse, so I'm thinking since she didn't even know her real name, she probably hardly even knew her. or she didn't know her at all, they just had her recipe.

From the first appearance of the mother for a picture taken when she was placing the stuff toy in her shoulder gives her away. No mother can think of pausing that way if endeed her child is lost. Definitely, she is not alone on this scam.

*She didn't know anything about her biological mother until she went to the beach house and Phoebe (her real mother) told her the truth.

*She didn't meet her father until the funeral of her grandmother

*She didn't meet her half brother until she went looking for her father.

*Her first husband was a marriage of convenience so he could work in the country.

*Her three children grew in her womb, but technically they came from Alice's eggs and Frank Jr's sperm

*She didn't get her second husband until the last season.

Really she had no family until later in the series.
