^Sorry but this is just so cheesy. Serisouly, what do we live for?? We wake up each day, telling ourselves there is "a reason", go join the ratrace, because if we didn't, it would eventually overcome us. We live in a dog-eat-dog society, if you don't forge your own way, you will be trampled. Now some things make life pleasurable, and meaningful, example, love, friendship, children, etc. To enjoy life you must have care and be cared for. Have you ever been in love? This is when I feel most alive, despite the drama and emotional roller-coaster of it all, this is what makes life worth living. The saying money can't buy happiness may seem cliche, but if you think outside the consumer mindset that we are all programed to use, you will see that it is cliche for a reason. Good luck and have a nice life :-)

The vast majority of people live to have their day-to-day needs met, and to experience the most happiness in the mundane routines of life. People express specific goals and dreams, but when you get down to it, the above is really what it's all about.
