I am going to prove to you that there exists a unicorn. To do this I have to prove the (possibly) stronger statement that there exists an existing unicorn. (By an existing unicorn I of course mean one that exists.) Surely if there exists an existing unicorn, then there must exist a unicorn. So all I have to do is prove that an existing unicorn exists. Well, there are exactly two possibilities:
(1) An existing unicorn exists.
(2) An existing unicorn does not exist.
Possibility (2) is clearly contradictory: How could an existing unicorn not exist? Just as it is true that a blue unicorn is necessarily blue, an existing unicorn must necessarily be existing.

There is a huge possibility that unicorns exist. There are so many species of animals living on uncharted places in the world that still live undiscovered... there is a chance. After all, it is just a horse with a horn jutting out of its forehead. There are whales with a horn growing from their face, so why can't there be horses? Even if they don't exist on Earth, there is a chance of them existing on other unknown planets. Even if they don't exist now, they at least used to.

Santa exists. Leprechauns exist, Zeus exists, and unicorns exist. As for the so-called "god", nah, it doesn't exist. Science is proving that concept wrong. Actually, none exist, but all are more plausible to me than deities (but Zeus was a cool one).

Because a unicorn is an imaginary creature. Just because you write something doesn't mean it exists. If that was so then I am a rich man and world peace will be declared in exactly 2 minutes...

Unicorns may have existed, but like so many animals on this planet they are now extinct. Just because no fossils of a unicorn have been found doesn't mean they didn't exist, it's just that none have been found....yet!

However you fiddle it, it boils down to yes or no, word games are NOT evidence. It would be great for lovers of wildlife if such a thing existed, but in the real world Unicorns belong to children, if only for a few years.

So if you reverse the order, then they don't exist? This is not a paradox, just bad logic.
Of course, narwals and rhinos do indeed exist, so you are right, of course. As to the mythical Medieval unicorn, they will not deign to enter a world which has rejected magic as thoroughly as we have. They prefer where they are.

I can honestly tell you When I took my daughters to the Barnum-Baily circus in NY many years ago. They brought out a small unicorn. I hope they don't see this but the media exposed them as goats with a device on there heads.

Could've been "strap ons". As a person will attach an artificial phallus to their body so too maybe warriors strapped on horns to their horses heads. Or perhaps it is Equestrian dressage? They are also a form of symbolism somewhere and as someone mentioned with the examples of other horned headed creatures they may well have existed but are rare or now extinct.
A good question !
