My period is normally 5-6 days, it's now 7 1/2 days..the period is light but not finished.?

I've been pretty stressed lately but I've never had a longer period. What's up, could I possibly be pregnant?

that seems about right..i have it for 7 days some have it for3 or4 days and some have it like you for 5-6 days....it just changed for you...its okay...you cant be pregnant....if you were your period would stop completely not add days...well, at least its light. there are girl that have heavy painful periods...your menstrual just changed, your fine...tea is good for those period days :)

I could only suggest going to your doctor
It's funny because I had this problem before and it was my fibroids. I had to take 3 shots of lupron to increase menopause which it was to shrink my fibroids.

As of yesterday I realized that i was spotting again almost a full blown menstrual again. called the doctor (Fibroid) Doctor and I have a appoointment for next week.

To my understanding whenever you bleed excessively after or before your period I will surely check with my Doctor for Fibroids.
Just give your doctor a call tofmmorow and ask the question as you did here and ask if possibly could have a problem with your Fibroids.

I am AGAIN not saying that this is what your condition is but I would surely ask the Doctor could this possibly be a reason why this is happening.

You should go to see a gyn, i had my period for the last 4 months and they found out i may have cervical cancer. So go ahead and get that check!
