I mean I try to be nice to people but they say I have a attitude. I mean I am always having an attitude I cant help it but I really want to fit in and be popular. Please help me.

Perhaps they are confusing your shyness for attitude.
Stop worrying what other people think of you. Even popular people are insecure sometimes. Just enjoy yourself with sports and school and your family...the right friends will come along.

I was terribly shy all through school. Finally senior year I just talked to everyone and quit taking comments like you have an attitude to heart. Kids are mean, it is NOT personal.
You are cool and there is no reason someone would not be your friend.
The less you care what they think and just talk to them the more friends you will have.
