Well, it's looks like all these people have given you different answers so you still don't have the answer, so I'm going to tell you what's been going on with the weather over the past few years in Bali.
Just like the rest of the World, Bali has been going through a bit of a climate change or El Nino year and when it was supposed to be raining back in December it was dry and when it was supposed to be dry last year in June, July and August, it was pouring down rain. So, the truth is, it has been hard to predict the weather the last few years for Bali.
The "NORMAL" weather pattern for Bali is this. MAY, JUNE, JULY, AUGUST, SEPTEMBER, OCTOBER, NOVEMBER are the DRY months during the BEST years. When the weather is not right you start taking OFF dry months from each end of that list. That would mean REMOVE MAY AND NOVEMBER,
THEN JUNE and OCTOBER. But not much more than that.
And mostly what you will see when it is rainy in the dry months is you will see a beautiful morning with a humidity build-up and a rainburst which you can duck in for an hour or so. the rain ends, the sun comes back out and you can go back to what you were doing before it started. The only thing is, don't bring alot of white clothes with you because your clothes WILL get durty especially if you plan on riding around on scooters after the rains. I recommend, if you can coming in October if you can rather than May. That way all of the vacationers are gone, the weather is more perfect, it's cooling down rather than heating up, because sometimes in May Bali can be quite cool, I know you might not think of Bali as cool or cold, but it really can be, especially in the hills of Ubud. October is a much more pleasant time.

Bali Weather at this moment is suppose to be summer, but surely it's hard to predict, someday you may have a very hot summer day, and next day is cloudy. If you have heavy rain then this type of rain will stop pretty soon, but if you have White Cloud but rain, then you can stay inside whole day...w'come to Bali !!
