It is all about the nationality, the only Argentinian player that has some confidence from the team manager and the coach is Messi, and just because he came from the youth squad. Maxi Lopez, Riquelme, Saviola, Sorin have had a hard time dressing the Barca jersey and most of them have done really good playing for other teams.
Dutchs just hate argentinians (sportively talking) and they tend to form players from the same nationality, just check the names of Johan Cruyff or Louis van Gaal teams and you will see.
Saviola's contract ends this summer and he could acquire his own pass if Barcelona does not make any move, so...

Hello?? You have Ronaldinho, Eto' and Messi in the squad for the same position Saviola plays.. why on earth would you even think about Saviola for playing instead of them?

The trainer Rijkaard does not want it in the equipment(team) and if it he has it is like a last forward. He prefers higher forwards like Larsson or Gudjhonsse for the game for high place

saviola is my favorate player in barca ................. he is the most expensive player barcelona ever bought (35 m euro) when he was only 19 ........................... in my opinion he is better than etoo and dont get why dont he play in barca ( but now 7 goals in his last 4 games )

I don't know, but it's really stupid, I mean fans love him and even Rijkaard said that he is great player!!!!! He is not good as Eto'o but he is among the best !!!!!

Don't know. He's done well over the last couple of games. His problem is that he hasn't been given a chance to show what he can do against better opposition.

well soccer is like that they always sell and buy players and somtimes they sell the good once be cuz they get a lot of money for them and the player wants to move to a diferent team!!!

well at the begining of the season barca had so many strikers there was not room for him, but now they need him and he is playing well and he is gonna get a contract!
