Do they think they are being cool by being illiterate?

The world's going to sh!t in a hurry and all these illiterate buggers are pushing it downhill. It's one thing to mess around with the language when you have it mastered but to learn a messed up version of things right off is just wrong. These are the same people who'll be crying about their station in life later on, blaming everyone else but themselves. Kids are just lazy these days - learning everything from the internet instead of the classroom where it can be properly explained.

Just from reading a bunch of questions on this site it's apparent that a bunch of them out there don't bother even trying to do their own homework - they just put the questions up here and let other people do it for them while they play video games or surf the net for more BS.

From various chatrooms, discussion boards etc. It's apparent that a ton of people out there don't know how to spell anything and don't understand simple grammer. I don't know how many times in a day I see "to" used when it should be "too" or "their" used instead of "they're" or "there" & "its" confused with "it's", the difference between "then" & "than", "affect" & "effect". The list could go on. It's absolutely pathetic.

GO TO SCHOOL AND PAY ATTENTION!! READ A BLOODY BOOK ONCE IN A WHILE!! TURN OFF THE COMPUTER & TV!! GO OUTSIDE AND PLAY, LEARN TO SOCIALIZE FACE TO FACE!!

It's because they think it will make them look cool and they feel they need to extend their coolness factor onto typing a message. They seem to forget how type correctly and how to use spell check. These are the same punks who don't want to go to school, don't graduate and then wonder why they are working at Burger King flipping over my hamburger.

Yes, I think they do. It's sad, really. I feel sorry for them. And I want to go slap their parents/teachers for allowing it. When I was younger, my mother and father would have made me write out correct sentences on the chalk board 100 times for each sentence I screwed up. If I had written that way, that is. I never did.

Because once people get messenger and all that stuff, they start out typing like that. I used to type like that, but I don't anymore. I used to think it was cool, but now as I think about it, it's really not. It's just harder to read and harder to type.

Because they "think" they are cool (when they really are not). OR , they need to go back to first grade, when we learned what letters to capitalize and how to spell the words "like" & "this"

because they lack the potential to regulate fonts, that can be used to exhibit themselves previous the content of the textual content they are typing. I agree, apparently dumb. the attempt required to study that type of textual content isn't nicely worth it. As for the spelling themes, I blame spell verify and textual content messaging.

Simple minded. It makes it difficult to read their gibberish. I gave up on trying to read what the simple minded have to say.

the same reason they type "relli" instead of really. because for some reason they think that sounds cool. like saying "dat" or "da" instead of that or the. it's stupid.
