Wake up clyde. No one wants 2 become a crime victim. Afraid of black people?..No, I'm too intelligent to be intimidated by someone's gestures, the faces he/she is making, and what they wear! That's th game, isn't it?...well it doesn't work with me.
what will YOU do if u are a victim in a crime? Nobody can predict how they'll react or behave during a crime. Also, don't black people rape, kill, rob, & carjack their own people? P.S., I don't see many brave black people around unless it's 10 against 1. You kno th story, don't you....

I'm not afraid of black people just because they have darker skin!! That would make me insane. I'm afraid of some people if they fit a certain creepy stereotype (not racial). By 'afraid' I mean 'more aware'. If I'm riding the subway and a black man gets on, I'm not scared in any way. If the man is wearing a ski mask, than I'm a little nervous. If he's reading a book, I'm not scared. If he's staring at me holding a knife, then I'm scared. You know what I mean. Honestly, it's not about race and more about the 'vibe'. I'm scared of creepy looking people of every race.

I live in a low income neighborhood (Hispanic) which has recently been flooded by rich yuppies (mostly white). They keep getting robbed because they running around at 2am with their iPods out while wearing Prada in an area that is known for it's drug related crime. Now I'm mostly worried that I will be stereotyped as one of those rich yuppies because I'm part of the white minority in the neighborhood even though I'm poor. I'm not afraid of the Hispanic people in my neighborhood, I'm afraid of the drug addicts that are targeting the people who look rich and are usually white. The drug addicts are usually Hispanic because it's an Hispanic neighborhood (duh). That doesn't make me racist, it means I know I live in a 'not so safe' neighborhood that is Hispanic and that means that the 'bad guys' are more likely to be Hispanic as well.

I'm not afraid of black people. Generally I'm not afraid of being raped, killed, robbed, carjacked unless I'm in a dangerous area.

Now begins my answer.
This is one of the biggest problems with American whites.
Many American whites and especially many in positions of authority and or responsibility have the ability to TWIST THE TRUTH AND OR LIE BETTER THAN THOSE THAT TELL THE WHOLE TRUTH AND NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH.
They have the ability to portray ANY AND ALL others as being vile and wicked people and the bane of THEIR existence when in most instances it is ACTUALLY THE OTHER WAY AROUND.
It was whites in America that raped, robbed, murdered and enslaved black people.
It was whites in America that raped, robbed, murdered and subjugated NATIVE AMERICANS.
I wish I knew the statistics but even without them WE ALL KNOW that there is a plethora of American white men in prisons AND ON THE LOOSE that kidnap, rape, rob and murder; yes, and even carjack too, any and all other ethnicities, INCLUDING AMERICAN WHITE MEN, WOMEN AND CHILDREN.
It wasn’t just Hitler and German whites that wanted the extermination of Jews. And to this day, many American whites as well as OTHER WHITE ETHNICITIES to this very minute, advocate the destruction of Jews, blacks, and just about every other ethnicity that they consider to be non-white American; and NOT ALL ARE SKINHEADS.
The sad part about all of this these days, is that EACH GROUP FEELS JUSTIFIED in vilifying and harming the other.
I don’t blame white people that fear black people that fit the stereotype that THEY BROUGHT INTO EXISTENCE.
Just know that black people too fear a stereotypical white American that too was brought into existence by whites in America.
Where I live, there is a certain amount of CROSSOVER STEREOTYPICAL BEHAVIOR that blacks and whites must fear of not only the opposite race but of their own as well.
And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
There is a large homosexual and lesbian contingent, black, white and other.
There are other ethnicities; e.g., Jews, Asians, Italians, Polish, Jamaicans, Pakistani, various Hispanics, and since the main communities are black and white of mixed ethnicity, of course a lot of these townsfolk are mixed race children.
There are those that practice Judaism, Islam, and Christianity of various types, including Catholicism, Lutherans, Methodist, A.M.E., Seventh Day Adventist, Jehovah Witnesses, et al.
How do you think certain white Americans feel about these individuals?
This town has crime that crosses the color lines and every other ethnicity but still we cannot see the difference between good and evil is NOT ETHNICITY.
WAKE UP EVERYBODY.
WAKE UP FOR REAL.

First off, to James Earl Ray, I did watch the Utube links you provided. Yes, that is evidence that black people do commit terrible crimes. However that is not the point. It would take me me no time at all, to do a little research, get into movie maker, and document the fact that any and every race has committed just as terrible if not worse crimes against humanity. Oklahoma bombing ring a bell? Jeffrey Daumer?
Funny story... I used to be some what afraid of the actions or attitudes of black people. Growing up on the west coast this is a slight problem, but not nearly as racial as it was while I lived in Texas.
After 4 years of marriage to a white man, we were divorced. He decided to embezzle $6,000 from his and my family to move us to another state, and desert me and our 3 kids for a 19 yr old. After that I dated only white men, and didn't look twice at the black men. That's when karma got a hold of me, and before I knew it, I fell in love with a black man who has treated me better than any man has. He is an honest, hard working, intelligent college grad, and has taught me that there is nothing to fear, besides ignorance itself. We all have the same souls in each of our different bodies.

I don't think that is just " Black" people. I'm really afraid of all men that doesn't look trust worthy.
I don't think that the movies help either. They are always showing us the "black" MEN not people are always getting into trouble.
I on the other hand have some : black" friends and I don't think that it's the skin color that should count, it's the person.

If you want honesty, I'm not afraid of black people but if I was in a neighborhood where white people were not welcome I'd be terrified that I wouldn't get out ok. This comes from experience though, I got lost in the Bronx years ago & black people were throwing things at our car saying Crackers get out of our neighborhood. If this never happened I wouldn't have thought twice about going in to black populated areas, but that has stuck with me.

Ok, well last night I was watching this whole documentary on serial killers, and none of them are black. Honestly, for some reason I'm not surprised. When I think of the words "serial killer" a white middle aged man actually comes to mind, that or a southern white crazy dude, like the Texas chainsaw Massacre. When it comes to robberies I think of Blacks or Mexicans, I'm trying not to be raciest because I'm Mexican and my BF is Black. Rapping's.. I guess i think of all men. Funny now that I think about it I only think about men when someone mentions any of these crimes, when they could also be committed by women.. Is that sexist? This is a mind boggling question when you think about it considering you views and reasoning's with others. I guess we all are guilty of bias.

YES!

I got black phobic when I was young, a was mauled by this group of black kids on my way back from school. Damn! They were trying to get money from me. I was hurt pretty badly.

Then there was this other time when I was held-up by black man (fairly recently) on my way to work.

Guess black people do have a tendency to be evil, specially if you look like an easy victim like me (5'7" 170lbs and blond WHITE).

BTW, I lived in LA. I now live in Argentina
