To divide a number by .01, move the decimal point 2 places to the right.

True.

Dividing by .01 is the same as multiplying by 100. Since 1/.01=100.

And moving the decimal point to the right (adding a zero on the end in the case of a whole integer) is the same as multiplying by 10. So moving it two places is multiplying by 10*10=100.

true. dividing by 0.01 is the same as multiplying by 100. when you multiply by 100, you move the decimal 2 places to the right. Ex:
1.23*100=123

Well I am not totally sure why...but I think the answer is true...

true...because you cant divide with a decimal, so you move the decimal point however many spaces to the right that you need in order to get a whole number.
