a=18, so
18=3b
b=6

a-b/3=
18-6/3=
18-2=
16

If you mean (a-b)/3, the answer would be 4, but as it is worded, based on order of operations, you would divide b by 3, then subtract that from a

or
(a-b)/3 comes to 4
