One person said she can't say anything unless she has kids. So unless you have children in Iraq, you can't make any statements or policy about war?
How stupid is that? I don't remember any leaders having kids in any of the last few wars. I know Chelsea Clinton wasn't involved in Somalia or Bosnia, or any other Clinton wars.
Boxer admitted she didn't have any children in the war either, but she's allowed to berate others just because she's a mother?
Boxer and similar liberals are pathetic and a disgrace to the country.
As to your question, Rice is being honest. I agree. I want our country to be safe for our future generations, so the sacrifices we make now are worth it to get lasting peace. I just heard we lose 7000 people a year from badly written prescriptions. Losing 3000 over 4 years in Iraq is a small price to pay to stop future 9/11 incidents on our people. No one wants to lose people in a war, but they were all volunteers and we honor them by respecting their wishes for a free country.

That's a plastic statement. The question is: who is sacrificimg whom in Iraq, and what will this sacrifice be worth for whom? Fill in the blanks, and start thinking!
