I think he named it Neverland because he is obsessed with regaining his childhood just like Petter Pan was a perpetual child in "Neverland." Jackson has done some very strange things over the years, but his parents pushing him into show business at such a young age probably did not help. Many child actors have problems in adulthood, but I think Jackson's are just more pronounced compared to other child stars.
