Yes, he left the building in 1977. That's a 30 year lunch break!

Yeah, he is gone. My mom's heart broke the day he died. She had been crazy about him since the first time she saw him on the Ed Sullivan show back in 1958, I think it was.
There is no way anyone could hideaway for all these years pretending to be dead.
When Jim Morrison died the same rumours were going on about him and the same thing happened when James Dean passed away. It is the nature of people to not believe in the death of very famous people unless they die in front of the public suchas President Kennedy and Bobby Kennedy and Martin Luther King did.

well i wouldnt say he left the building i would say he was caried out of the building now he is in a casket at grace land where he wil spend eternity there , he may be gone but his sole and music lives on forever in his fans hearts and on the radios etc , so he physically left of but not mentally
