I am so sorry. There really is not much you can say except look her in the eye and say you are sorry, try to give her a hug and if you want cry right with her. Tell her you are there for her and if she needs you all she has to do is call. Check in with her at least once a week, don't over do it. Just call to say hi, when she is ready to accept your offers to help or talk she will let you know. Be There For Her!

Tell her you are very sorry for what happened and that if she is in need of a friend, then you will be there to comfort and listen to her if she needs someone to talk to and hug.
Even if she is a friend of a friend you can become her friend by giving her support and also knowing that you ampathize with her. Having support by friends and even by strangers is something that tells her that she is not alone in her grief.

that's so terrible. well If you are Christian, just tell her that her baby is in a much better place, where it won't feel any pain or sadness..it will just be surrounded by love..plus tell her that Jesus has a rocking chair, and He will love her baby just like she does, and I'm certian He will tell her baby about her too...and tell her that She will see ALL of her babies one day. I don't know your friend, but I know that this would comfort me If I were in the same shoes as your friend. I hope this helps you, and I hope that it comforts your friend as well, and brings her family peace.

Just let her know that you love her and that if there is anything that she needs, even if it's just some one to listen to her cry then you will be there. Thing look down now, but let her know that these things have happen to other women before and they made it through strong.

there is nothing you can really say that will take away the sorrow and pain she is feeling. just let her know that you are there for her at anytime. also be sure to check in on her in a few weeks. that is usually when everyone else said their sorry and it quiets down. that's usually when people have a harder time.

Its hard to figure out what to say in a situation like this. Just be there for her and comfort her.

Let her know you're there for her; if she wants to talk, if she doesn't want to talk, whatever you can do. "I don't know what it's like to go through something like this, but I know what it's like to have been your friend through rough stuff before. I'm here for you."

don't say anything. just let her cry in your arms if she wants to cry. if she wants to talk about it let her talk and be a good listener. if she wants to be alone, let her be, once she's ready to come out she'll be ready.

give her a hug for me.
