i was in the supermarket buying some stuff. it was a long line so i was standing there looking around. then i notice an atractive girl -(about 20 -25 years old) came and stood behind me in line. then i noticed one of her buttons were open. so i thought as a gentlment it would be the right thing to tell her even though she would get embarrassed or she can walk around without telling her as she was puting on a show for everyone. so i build up enough courage and whispered to her "exuse me but one of your buttons is open." she gave me a stupid look and and called me a pervert. i got so offeneded i took my stuff and went to a different cashier . now did i do something wrong or was she out of line.

I think you did the right thing. But than maybe she wanted that button to be open so people would look, and got insulted because someone actually looked, like so many women do now in days.

Some people leave a button open on purpose. If I didn't know the person, I would not say anything unless it was exposing something. For you to notice, she probably thought you were checking her out and that button caught your attention. Your intentions were good, but other men do not have that same intention so it goes against you all with some women.

Well, in my opinion she was out of line, however, just because she misunderstood your noble, and genuinely good intentions. She probably is the kind of girl who thinks everyman out there wants her, so can't imagine a guy just being nice, or saying something to help her without having other intentions, you know? I think that was probably it. Anyway, you are not a pervert (right?lol, just kidding) she couldn't see you meant no harm, or anything like that, and thought you were cheking her out majorly! You probably should've explained to her, maybe raise your voice, and make her realise how silly she behaved! That would've been funny, anyway, your reaction was good ;)

She was ignorant. You did the right thing. Except for giving up your place in line.
