about how much is a wig? my hair is really long, it almost reaches my butt. and what is everyones FIRST opinion when they see a woman with a shaved head?
i LOVE long hair, and everyone ALWAYS said how pretty my hair is and that they wish their hair was this long. the only problem i see in this situation is im gay and when i do shave my head i dont want people to think im butch..or manly...eew. i dont want ppl to think that of me.
im 20 i think i should do it...what do yall think? should i?

yes, nice wigs are expensive, and if your hair is down to your butt, it's not pretty. i'm sorry but that's too long. anyone who tells you it looks good is lying. hair past your mid back is TOO LONG and just looks overgrown! sorry to be so honest! (just my opinion!)

A lot of wigs are fairly inexpensive but good looking. Synthetic ones are pretty much care free especially the straight cuts. Human hair wigs are nicer but require more care because they are real hair. I have a few nice synthetic ones I wear when I just want a different look. It depends on what you are looking for really.

Nice wigs (the ones you can't distinguish from real hair) are hundreds of dollars. First impression people usually have when seeing a bald woman (especially if you're thin-ish) is that you sick with an auto-immune disease (AIDS) or that you're going through chemo. I would suggest you get your hair cut and styled to a shorter length(maybe shoulder?). It would let you be feminine without being too girly, or looking like you're gonna beat someone up.

you dont have to shave your head to change your appearance. try just cutting your hair shorter. wigs vary in price depending on what its made of, and how long it is, if its styled. ect. you can always buy a few if you want to change your style, and just wear them when you feel like you need a change. then people won't just be commenting on your hair. you could also just try doing those clip in hair pieces, they are a little cheaper. i wouldnt cut it all off... if you hate it, it will take awhile to grow back. at least if its short you change it around but still have something to work with.
