To get an approximate due date you take first day of your last period, count back three months, and add 12 days....at least that is what my doctor told me when I had my first child 13 years ago. Say you started your last period on November 5th..count back 3 months...that would be August, add 12 days....due date would be August 17th...so you are about 2months along right now. Ultrasounds can only give you an approximate due date as well because they use measurements and if your baby is smaller than average the ultrasound will show you not as far along or if larger than average it will show you farther along.....no way to know "exactly" how far along you are for sure...everything is just approximate.

You normally count forwards in weeks from the first day of your last period. If your last period lasted 7 days, then you would be about 10 1/2 weeks pregnant now. If there is a chance you had bleeding during pregnancy, you could be further along, and the doctor should be able to do an ultrasound to determine your baby's gestational age. Given that you are at least 10 weeks, though, you really need to get in to see a doctor as soon as possible. Most doctors in the U.S. like to see you for the first time between 6 and 8 weeks.

The last day of your period is not important.
You need to remember what the FIRST day of your last period is.
You start counting from there, this is how the doctor will do it and that is one of the first questions he will ask you.
It is safe to assume that between November 5th and 8th was tha first day of your period. So start from there. Count in weeks.
You are anywhere bewteen 10 and 11 weeks pregnant. If ou do an ultra sound, you should be able to see your baby pretty well ( I saw it really well at 10 weeks). Hurry up to make an appointment for the Down syndrome testing because after 13 weeks they migth not want to do it. Not every woman want this test done though.
Make sure that you take your prenatal vitamins and your first prenatal visit should be in about a week from now.
Good luck!

You shouldn't have to have medicade before you see a doctor. Just tell the Obgyn's office that you are in the process of getting insurance and to hold off on billing you. When you do have your medicade setup appointment, tell them the first date you saw the doctor and they will start your coverage as of then. That way all of your Obgyn visits will be covered. Since you are around 10 weeks, give or take, you need to get in soon. If you really can't get in right away, go to your local pharmacy and get some over the counter prenatal vitamins to start taking.

Figure out how many weeks it has been since the first day of your last period and that is how far along you are. The doctor will be able to tell you for sure as they can measure the baby, etc.

About 10 to 12 weeks I would think. When did you have sex after November 11th and before your next period? That would kinda give you an idea.

only an ultrasound can tell you for sure. but for a guess, start from the day of your missed period. i don't know that you have to have medicaid before you go to your appointment. they told me they would pay anything from before as long as i had proof that i was preggo, etc.
