Say I love you and all but I love my best friend too. I can not let her go just because you don't like her. You have to except her for who she is. Please ask him this with a sad face then he will buy it.

Does he have a good reason for not liking her? If not, I guess I would talk to him and say, "this is my long time friend and she deserves to be at our/my son's party, and I am inviting her." Again, you didn't say why he doesn't like her. If she is dangerous to you or your son in some way, that would be different. If not, your husband needs to grow up.

Your Husband is sounding insecure. It's perfectly natural that married people have good friends. Does he hang out with his friends? Sounds like something is going on. Maybe something between your best friend and him. I would be evaluating my marriage if I were you. Ask him why he doesn't like her...........he must have some sort of a reason........hmmmmm.

Why doesn't your hubby like your friend? Does she get you into trouble? Does she have bad habits? I'd invite my friend and tell my husband to deal with it.

my husband hates my best friend also, and honestly I tell him to fu*k himself when he gets mad when she is around. Men come and go, but friends don't, that is what you need to tell yourself. If he loves you, he will be willing to sacrifice his emotions and let everyone enjoy your childs birthday. My husband is still around and no matter how much he tells me to quit hanging with her (and by the way there is nothing wrong with my best friend my husband is just a little baby who wants me to himself) I still do and he hasn't left, so don't worry it isn't like he is going to leave you...

Rule number one:
Your husband should show some respect and even if he does not like her, he should be mature about it.

find out why he doesn't like her, has she done something to offend him -- like making a pass at hime or something. try to come to some agreement so that you don't have to give up your best friend but where you still have peace in your marriage.
