Queen Elizabeth II is the current queen, there is no King. There is a Prince Consort which is different from a king, that is Prince Philip. A Prince Consort is under a Queen but above a Crown Prince, Prince Charles.

There is no King-the reigning monarch is Queen Elizabeth II. Her husband is Prince Phillip. He is not the King because that is a higher rank than queen, and Elizabeth is her father's heir.
