Not that remark as such, but just the way that it was said ,might cause an uproar.Saying to shilpa ,to go home after all the other stuff that was said, from Jades mother,is like a racist remark ie.we dont want you here spoilt asian woman.

I think Danielle is too dim to know what she means. I didn't hear anything racist. People need to realise that bullying someone of a different racial background to you is not inherently racist. If you bully someone BECAUSE of their race, then of course it's racist.
However, saying that you think Shilpa is a liar, or unhygenic, or deceiptful, or calling her a dog, or saying she makes you sick or makes your skin crawl - none of this is racist. Where in any of this is her race mentioned?
It's much closer to racism when Jade and Jackie start saying that Shilpa "lives in a shack" or comes from a slum.
But we need to be very careful - if calling an Indian woman a "dog" and saying she makes your "skin crawl" is racist, am I being racist by saying that I think Jade is a dog and she makes my skin crawl? Nobody would ever class that as racist. Double standards.
To be racism, the abuse must be directly related to someone's colour, ethnicity, race, culture etc - just saying someone who happens to be Indian is a dog, is NOT racism, it's just abuse

it is not racist in any way shape or form. but the fact that you asked is it racist is the question itself, if you are normal then the answer is no it is not racist if you are an ethnic minority you will say it is. we English made the laws to protect the minorities but now they want to add to this and make it so we British can only say what they agree with. freedom of speech is a long establish rule of Britain and i say beware to any one that tries to stop that great British institution.

It depends on the context it was said. It is sad that the whole world can see what kids growing up in UK are turning out. I think that other cultures put us to shame. Shilpa clearly respects her parents, country etc. She is not being fake. Just a decent human being.

I used to run a small business which employed 5 people. Three white english, one black english, one irish english.
When I used to tell them to go home they all had the same reaction.
They used to say cheers boss, get into their cars and go home. At the weekend i also used to say to them "have a nice weekend"
Does this make me a rascist. I'm worried now
