I'd say Muse are currently the best live experience out there, but what's your view?

I saw Muse play at Newcastle a couple of months back, and everything about the gig was top class - the set list, the music quality, the lighting, and the audience were all up for it.

Without a doubt - U2. They have been around since the early 80's, and more important they have been producing great music all this time. Sure, most people just recognize Beautiful Day and Vertigo, but that's not what U2 is about. You can't just hear one song on the radio - you have to listen to Achtung, Baby or The Joshua Tree to see how they really are the greatest still around. They don't bash the American government (and don't even bring up Bullet the Blue Sky - that was about a specific event, not simply political rants), don't bash the Christian faith, and have all stuck together for all this time. Bono has the best voice of any rock group nowdays; no one mentioned above has a voice comparable to his (though Eddie Vedder has a great unique voice, it doesn't have the range or power of Bono's). They can make soft songs, power ballads, or great rockin songs. They can honestly play anything. The Edge has distinguised himself with his unique guitar sound, something most of the other bands mentioned above have failed to do. Plus, no one on earth puts on a show like U2. Don't believe me? Check out some old Zoo TV videos.

No one is in the same league as U2. Green Day, My Chemical Romance, all those bands don't hold a candle for all that U2 has done for Rock and Roll.

Need further convincing? Check out Rolling Stone's Top 500 albums. You'll find 2 U2 albums in the Top 100. Try to find Green Day or My Chemical Romance in the top 300 (or even in the list at all). Or check out Rolling Stones Greatest Bands of all Time. U2's there. They also have songs in the Top 500 Greatest Songs of all Time. Sure the magazine is subjective (Hotel California at #73??? wtf???), but they still do know what they are talking about.

Well I saw Breaking Benjamin, Staind and Three Doors Down and the whole show was amazing. Staind was great however I think that Three Doors Down was a bit better. They are so very energizing.

As for another one I would say Motley Crue, they are not only musically talented but the side show they have going on at the same time is intense. However be forewarned that I would not suggest anyone under 18 unless accompanied by an adult and even then it would depend on what you were expecting. They have toppless dancers on the stage.

My fav band to watch live is pearl jam. They always put on a rocking show. They have great audience participation. Ya never know who might guest appear. I saw them when Chris Cornell came out and sang hunger strike with eddie. Was awesome. And their encores are infamous! If ya get the chance to watch them, i'd highly recommend it.

i wager I stay to a agenda it truly is laid out for me by my relations (spouse and three youthful babies) and a section time job. It doesn't go away a lot time to do issues on the spur of the prompt, yet I do bypass with the bypass after I get the prospect.
