Hmm, I'm writing a book too! Difference is I'm still in highschool, but my creative writing teacher who has had several books published said that by the way things are going, I'll be a published writer! But back to your problem . . . I get writers block every now and then; I think all great authers do. Well, have you tried re-reading the work you have already done? Sometimes when I do that i start thinking of details and little important peices that should happen next. Before you know it, you'll be wanting to write that last chapter! Good luck, hope you get published!

The best thing to do is to read. Read lots of books that you love, and are in roughly the same genre. And a variety too, so you don't end up copying the writing style.
Trust me on this, I do it all the time. When you find the right one, you will know, because you will put it down and be ready to pick up a pen. THAT'S when the ideas will suddenly come.
If that doesn't work, my only suggestion would be to try nd abbreviate it into a synopsis style thing, so that you have something to work with. Then you can go back and expand on that framework. Another thing which I do all the time.
Hope that works for you!

For me, author's block is a few specific concept that i won't be able to enhance on. I do get innovations for different stuff, yet once I say i'm on a author's block it potential that i won't be able to get previous the place i'm caught now at writing or that i won't be able to enhance a plot anymore for some particular element, my creativity isn't coming in.

I'm in almost the same boat (I have about 3 chapters left to go and some major revision). I find myself "getting blocked" because I don't want to be finished. I know I have to write some things that happen that I don't really want to - but that's how the story goes. Do what you know you have to and write out what happens. Then when it's all out, breathe. You've got it down. Then take it out again and write the right words. They'll come now that you have the bones there.

Read Bird by Bird, watch Stranger Than Fiction (all about writer's block), take a day or two totally for yourself and get out and do a whole bunch of fun stuff and don't think about the book at all, then go back refreshed, sit down and force it out word by word.

Well, I could be sarcastic and say your spelling is atrocious, but I figure you were probably in a hurry and didn't use spell-check when posting this question. What you can do is go to your local park where a lot of people hang out and just watch them. Don't do anything, just watch. When you have had enough of the stupid inanities that people try to achieve while you are watching everything you need to do with your story will just flow from your mind and your fingertips. Enjoy.

You know what you want already.
So start with a very crude outline.
Make several passes over it refining small items, quotes, details and actual sentences as you go.
After a few passes, the outline starts to disappear and you only have to clean up a sloppy chapter.
If you have already written 95% of the book, Do you think maybe you are sub-consciously putting off the books completion because you don't want it to end?

I received this advice about writer's block. Open your work-in-progress in one window. Open a blank screen in another. On the blank screen, just start writing about ANYTHING. Write about how your feet are cold and the heat's not turned high enough and... you see? Just write SOMETHING, and that last chapter will come through.

There's no such thing as writer's block. Just write the chapter, even if the wording sucks. You can go back and fix it up later.

take a little while to think about it, write a bunch of different ending chapters, all different but still the same, then see which one people like the best with the book
