Start with the origins of perfume. You can write a lot about how people would not bath often and used perfume to mask bodily odors.
Then maybe near the end, tie it together by writing about how perfume now is a luxury instead of how it was a necessity.

You can write about how most celebrities, singers and rappers are all coming out with there own perfumes that seems to be a trend. You can probably write about things you learn and classes you can take to get a degree on this subject. I know they have classes at the school I went to: Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. You can talk about the different scents and what notes go good with what and behind the scene like chemistry stuff.

Of course start by perfumes history, when it started, who invented it, where? Also are you allowed to use excerpts from a book or journal? If so fill up the paper with quotes, and analyze them. Are you allowed to include an interview? Perhaps you could go to a makeup counter and do an interview with a sales person. Maybe they can give you their first hand experience with it. If you could add an interview that would take up at least 2 or three pages.

Wow. What a strange topic. Are you in beauty school? And why is this stupid teacher making you write 15 pages?! Who cares that much about PERFUME!!? Well, I hate this teacher for you. But, regardless of my opinion, you have to write this paper. Her'es some points you should consider writing about:
*Most common ingredients
*Where perfume originated (who started using it first.)
*Where it is sold
*Statistics about what/how many people use it.
*Most common perfumes
Sorry, I can't think of anything else.
