Those little flutters, almost like the "butterflies in the stomach" feeling, that is what it feels like. Sometimes it gets a little stronger, like a sharp kick or stretch, but until the baby gets into its third trimester, you won't feel too much else. It kind of tickles, really, like a micro-version of how your stomach feels for that instant on the elevator. Wait until the baby gets the hiccups (my daughter used to wedge herself by my hip, so the whole bone felt the jarring!), or jumps when a loud noise happens next to your tummy! If you want a more definite response, try eating an apple or drinking some juice (fruit sugars react the fastest, and they seem to like it), then wait 10-20 minutes. You should feel little bitty movements, almost like sometimes when a muscle jumps in your leg or arm for no particular reason (well, I'm sure there is a reason, but I don't know what it is).

im 22 weeks my baby is super active couldnt determine the sex by ultrasound and today the dr had to be patient to get the heart rate by the fetal monitor. When i 1st felt it, that was about 17 weeks or so it felt like flutters kinda like gas but if u know u dont have gas then thats the baby. now its just kicking and flipping like a maniac in there i see the tummy jump and move as the baby moves its a weird feeling but still a great one. good luck 2 u! oops there the baby gave a kick for u!!

I first felt little flutters at about 15 weeks, then little tappings by about 20 weeks. I sometimes used to feel like there was a clicking sound coming from low down in my tummy, which felt a bit like a vibration. It sounds weird but it feels like an elastic band is being twanged in your tummy!! I know this sounds a bit silly, but I'm sure you will agree when you experience it for yourself!!!
Good luck with your pregnancy!! xx

At first it feels like a flutter but you will know it when the baby starts getting bigger and moving around.

Im 18 weeks and can feel tiny distinct "kicks" sometimes in the morning when Im eating breakfast. Other times is like bubbles. Kind of what you feel in your stomach, only low in your abdomen. Congrats!!

My experience was like bubbles popping inside at the beginning, then you can actually feel the kicks.
Congratulations and good luck!

Sometimes it feels like gas pains, other times a fluttery feeling almost like an inside tickle, when they get larger you can actually see feet and butt poking your stomach. It is really cool.
