Let me just say last night in Utah a man was caught for raping a 2 year old...I have 2 babies and so I think if you have children it changes your thought on this alot. I guess you wouldn't know what this is coming from unless you had kids.

You can't, unless you feel you could gain enough support to amend the constitution. Death for this would never pass muster in the Supreme Court.

Any piece of legislation starts out by being introduced in either the Senate or the House as a bill. Both houses of Congress vote on the Bill, which determines whether or not it passes. Usually a 2/3 majority is required. If the bill passes that hurdle, it then goes to the Presidens desk, where he will either sign the bill, allowing it to become law or he will veto it, in which case it goes back to congress for another vote.

You can't. However, you can start writing to your Congressmen and Senators in an effort to bring the subjec to vote.

You would feel comfortable sentencing someone to death based on the word of a 5 year old? A LOT of molestation cases are proven to be unfounded and the perps are innocent. Perhaps if you caught them in the act, I would support this measure...

Contact your State Legislature. South Carolina, I believe, has already started on one.

HOWEVER, I doubt it will pass Federal Judicial scrutiny. The Eighth Amendment prohibits "Cruel and Unusual Punishment", and I am guessing that the judiciary would rule that capital punishment for anything less than murder would be "Cruel and Unusual".

There are enough people here who want the death penalty abolished for murders that you will face stiff opposition.

You are not alone in your mindset but do not sacrifice your freedom for these pathetic beings. The law has to solve this problem. There are ways to make these degenerates stay in jail or be monitored. I can relate to how you feel. Getting involved in organizations to fight this problem is the best way to deal with it for now.

We have a whole system in place to prevent immature wack-jobs, like you, from passing laws.

Killing people is disgusting.

Even if you could pass your law, how would you explain to families of those executed, and to your own kids, why you caused thousands of people to be executed, because they had sick sexual desires?

Would you go into history as a hero or as a monster? Think about it... thousands dead. Congratulations on your life's achievement.

I am right there with you. I will be the first person to sign the petition. I think they all should be shot. Especially ones that victimize the young even if they are under age themeselves.

And you'll need a constitutional amendment. So that it cannot be challenged as cruel and unusual because it's excessive. Go for it. I'm 100% behind you.

Um, a little harsh for the guys who were wrongly convicted.

How about we pass a law that we can slap a teacher back if they slapped me?

I agree with you 100%. People that can do that should be killed on the way to jail and thank God some are.
