It does seem a lot nicer when the asker actually picks your answer and then comments, it's a little more personal that way.

But seriously, I would rather that the person who asked it were appreciative enough to AT LEAST give a best answer, if they are going to ask the community, they owe it to us to pick a best answer in a concise amount of time.

It totally blows! You always want to know what the person thought of the answer... And screw yahoo for punishing you for asking a question with -points! But then I get +2 for witting this bullsh!t answer.

well sometimes it does. but most of the time there thanks is in them giving u a best answer. a message can also be tooo time consuming. so most people don't have much time on there hands. to thank that certain person so they just get a best answer.
