People aren't understanding and compassionate anymore because people only care about money and their self, to make their-self happy not anyone else. years ago it was not to so much about the money, more about feelings and if you got to know someone you would be happy about it. they didn't have very much themselves so the only thing they could give was love(in other words) now it is hate the world is rotten with it. will that is what I think.

Good question. The reason for that is there is no f***n unity, only compassionate about themselves. 2 reasons-money and Pain from past experience. take those into key and use them to make a person compassionate again. I started doing dat today, now hes helping someone out.

I think that one scientist had it right but I cannot remember his name or the exact way he put it. (YEARS ago in a college psych course) He said that people went through 5 stages of development and that a lot of people never reach that fifth stage that deals with moral reasoning. I have met several people in my life and have noticed a difference in some peoples idea of what is morally correct. Understanding and Compassion could be a part of the fifth stage as well because some people have it and some people don't. It takes someone who doesn't have these characteristics to do something that is morally wrong.

People never were understanding, nor were they compassionate. At least we're not hanging people in public squares, stoning people with different lifestyle choices, or beheading people who offend us anymore.

lets face the fact that we are just humans pre-occipied of this busy world,..we rush to work coz we have bills to pay,..but that doesnt mean that we lost our compassion and understanding for others..there are still generous and kind-hearted people reaching out thier hands to those people in need,..starving children..if we cant do it in kind..we can do it thru prayer..rite?
