I have to agree with one of the other persons that answered your question. I have lived in Boston most of my life. Have eaten plenty of crab cakes but never heard of a clam cake.

yes- good stuff (though incredibly bad for you!)
THey are from RI and are seldom found outside the state. They are basically fried globs of dough with chopped up clams in them. Good ones are crispy with lots of clams. Bad ones are soggy with no clams!
