For an MLM / Network Marketing opportunity to work you need Affordable Products That Sell Well And Marketing Systems That Work !!
1. You need products that sell like Chocolates at Easter-Time, Toys at Christmas, Turkeys on Thanksgiving or Cold Drinks during a summer heatwave.
2. The products must be AFFORDABLE to most people, EVERYBODY must be able to afford to buy them and the products MUST be consumable, so they generate REPEAT BUSINESS (this is SO important!)
3. You can't be asking your prospects to pay anything up-front, like an associate joining or registration fee, or be made to buy some kind of “Business starter kit”. No !
4. The business system, support system and marketing plan must be SO SIMPLE and is MUST BE very EASY TO FOLLOW, so that even a complete novice should be able to get to at least $500 per month in on-going earnings within just a few short months !!!

What I can offer is a few resource links to help you start to learn how to recognize the good, bad and ugly. I can also offer to help point you toward free mentoring should you decide to do something program oriented, ie... product, service.
I spend a lot of my time helping other people get started in whatever they want to do and avoid the scams. Been there, done that and there are some really good, honest home based businesses out there. If I can save someone else the greif I struggled through, I will do it gladly and freely.
Someone has listed some good resources for working as a tele-op. That is good, but unfortunately though you may receive the benefit of being at home when your children are there, hours are usually more restricted, not a home based business, normally no benefits and income is capped. .... just things to think about while you sort things out.
People DO make money working from home and hey do it in many ways. I have nothing to sell, but only generic informaion if you or anyone else you know is looking to start working towards your own independence. I cannot post any of these links even though they are generic and not related to me at all, but someone keeps reporting it as spam and advertising. I have to wonder if they have read the report and don't want anyone else reading it or what.
You can reach me through my profile if you would like some non-promoting information.

Most successful home-based businesses that do not require substantial initial investment require a lot of education and/or skills. There are thousands of lawyers, bookkeepers, consultants, medical transcriptionists, technical writers, software developers, etc., working out of their homes. Generally, almost any small business that is done in an office can be done from home. A few years back, The Wall Street Journal ran a profile on a Pennsylvania man who runs a mutual fund out of his house; when SEC auditors come in, they work at his kitchen table...

I recommend SiteSell. They've helped me and tens of thousands of people launch successful home-based web businesses. And they have a Money Back Guarantee. Check out their cutting edge blog: http://blogit.sitesell.com/wotsnext.html
Then take a look and find the type of business on this link [ http://www.wotsnext.com ] that best describes what it is that YOU do (or want to do), and see how YOU can build your own thriving online business.
It works for me. As an example, take a look at how I use the SiteSell. Then see if you can fit something similar around your own area of expertise. Then all you need is a passion and some persistence. This page links you to all the resources I use. http://www.psychic-junkie.com/are-you-psychic.html

Do you have a full or part time job? If you do then a home base business start up will work for you.
http://www.mylot.com/Hew208
This one is easy to set up, cost nothing, and pays. Try it, they want you to share your knowledge with others. It will surprise you to learn that there are many people that want to know the things you think are unimportant.
In addition I have: http://Malone.jerkydirect.com
This permits me to help non profit groups make money to fund their activities. In the beginging of this business I made sure that I got 10 people to join in making money with me, now I don't mention it unless asked.
Good Luck, may yours be as good as mine.

One option is to work as a virtual call center representative where you take incoming calls that will be directed to you and handle requests or close sales. Many call center companies are now using home-based agents, and this is a perfect work at home business for a mom like you.
Projects that will be sent your way will often be different -- some clients will be financial institutions while others are retailers (and pay will be dependent on the type of call and industry you will be serving).
Here are some companies that work with home-based agents:
- VIPDesk.com http://www.vipdesk.com = will ask you to shoulder the required credit and background checking fees.
- Working Solutions http://www.workingsol.com/ = no fees required but considers their agents as independent contractors, thus requiring applicants to be self employed
- Alpine Access http://www.alpineaccess.com = no fees and you will be considered as an employee, not as an independent contractor
- LiveOps http://www.liveops.com/ = considers agents as independent contractors; no upfront fee but requires applicants to pay for the background check
- WillowCSN http://www.willowcsn.com/ = requires their agents to work as independent contractors and incorporate
If this is something that interests you, I suggest you study the offerings of the above companies (and several more in this business) and compare to see which one will give you the best deal for your work.

Good Day! Two websites come to mind!
(1) http://www.deliveringonthepromise.com/moore
Make money signing people up as Independent Business Owners and/or members. Members would be individuals who want to save money on Health Benefits.
(2) http://freedom.ws/aamoore/show_dvd
Watch the video on this site as it would be better expalined to you.
Hope this helps. If not all the best with your search and never give up as there is always something out there for everyone.
Peace!

I'm also a mother of a 14 months toddler. I personally fell for many scams and lost a lot of money, especially in programs promising easy money from simple task, such as hometyping, mail order business and etc. Until recently, one of my friend show me his checks paying from a company called "Our Power Forced Matrix"(OPFM) amounting to $2,417.58, $4,835.16 and $6,430.76. Thus, I joined the program and found that it's real and legal.
If you are reliable, teachable and willing to start a home based business, I can pay your way in the matrix, just go to:

Go to http://ewebsmith.com for free information on legitimate free online businesses Be aware that, like any business, it takes a while to get things going depending on how much work you put into it. You may not see any money for 3 months. If you can spend 3-$500 on advertising, it will happen faster.
