These guys don't know what they are talking about. The best dunk I've ever seen in a dunk contest was James White dunked from the foul line and brought it between his legs at the same time. You can find it on Youtube Best Dunkers Not in the NBA. If you're talking NBA then the best was Michael Jordan's foul line dunk in my opinion I still like it better then the 720. But the best in game dunk I've ever seen is Clyde the Glide dunked from the foul line once on a fast break. I also like a couple Kobe did in a game a couple of years ago.

It's gotta be the Jordan dunk from the free-throw line.

Best one in a game was that 720 by that guy on the And-1 tour.

are you talking in the nba or basketball in general. If you are talking in basketball it is definitely Mj's dunk when he took of from the free throw line.Or one of Patrick Ewing's dunk. Its definitely not Nate Robinson's dunk over Spud last year.If you are talking basketball in general it is definitely Taurian Fontenette A.K.A. "The Air Up There".He is the guy who did the 720 dunk, twice. That was a Kodac moment

Jason Richardson when he won back to back the slam dunk title.

But if you were talking during an actual game, it would be Vince Carter dunking over a 7 foot european center during one of the world games.

i can't believe none of you mentioned the dunk contest in 2005 (i think) when amare threw the ball onto the basketball board thing and then steve nash headed it like a soccer ball and then amare slam dunked it.

I personally thought that Cedric Ceballos' blindfolded dunk was the most original for his time!
