Rap is crap, literatly. it is about being with sluts, wearing "bling" (that word sounds really queer), drugs, and other stuff. it's not even music, but words to a beat, they rarely even sing!

please don't categorize all rap music the same. Its obvious you haven't heard all rap music, therefore you would be an awful person to judge. A lot of mainstream rap or commercialized rap such as Chingy, etc. would be called entertainers but real rap music is poetic. Real rap artists are tupac, common, Mos Def, Talib K, the roots, eminem, these people music have meaning and thought behind every word written on the page. So before you go to judging do your homework, and if you don't like it don't listen to it. Do you think the entire world like everything about you? do you think they question why you exist because they don't care for you? well they don't.

It's because kids today are told what they should like by big corporations. Back in my day (the seventies) getting a hit record meant you actually had to have talent. People like Elton John and Supertramp were bona fide musicians who perfected their craft through long years of practice. Nowadays any moron (can you spell P. Diddy?) can stand in front of a mike and pretend to be artistic and some big music company will promote the hell out of it. Kids today have low expectations because rap is easy to produce and they can crank it out by the hour. The big record companies are making a fortune without having to find actual musicians.

In my opinion, rap is dead and there are only a few good rappers out there who don't always have to talk about women, their money and their bling bling. Rap needs to recheck itself before it completly dies out in a few years.

Rap music is not crap...everyone is entitled to their own personal opinion and I respect yours...there are all different types of rap music...I am a huge fan of hip-hop as well as my children and if you weren't so ignorant to it you might learn to understand and appreciate it yourself.
Who did you like AC/DC...Twisted Sister...KISS? A bunch of transgendered men trying to look and be women who bite the heads off of animals and disrespect life and the world as a whole?
I listen to all types of music...Rap...Rock...Gospel...Country...etc. I don't like it all and if I don't like I turn it off...

Everybody can listen to anything he/she wants to as long as he/she doesn't disturb the others.
I don't like rap, but I don't like the way you criticize the others either...

you are right,it sux. rap music is actually an oxi moron.I think the only reason any body listens to rap is becouse anybody can do it, you don't have to have any special talent to talk, so they set thier sights low enough to reach.EVERYBODY WANTS TO BE A ROCK STAR THE ONES WHO FAIL BECOME RAPPERS.

well you are entitled to your'e opinion but, some people have a different outlook on that topic. im sure some people would have a problem with what type of music you listen to.
