Sure they do. There are loads of idiotic questions on here that allow people to express their crackpot opinions. Most aren't spelled right so I could see how you would miss them. If you're so paranoid about the religious right controlling the media, get your news online or from the many other sources avaliable today. It's not rocket science dude, just avoid what you think is corrupted. End of story.

It is not so much of the religious right controlling the media. Its more of a reflection of the media trying to reach the masses. Most media cares about SALES and RATINGS. Media outlets care about readership, viewership, and DOLLARS. Since most of America has a Christian base, we get news that is slanted to make that consumer base happy. Which in turn generates the readership/viewership and then generates the advertising dollars. This is true in ALL countries with a non-goverment controlled media.

From all the negative coverage Christians and conservatives get, I'd have to disagree about the bias. I haven't seen a positive story on a conservative christian in a major newspaper or magazine in some time.

They don't "control" the media. However, the media is so terrified of being labled anti-christian, they bend over backwards pandering to them.
