He is my best friend. go to school and church together. He is so sweet. the other day he said that if I ever died, he would put a white rose on my grave. a few weeks ago, he showed me a picture of this nebula cloud thing and he said to me "do you think this is pretty?" I said yeah. He said "I think you're prettier. He always talks to me and I eat lunch with him on days that neither of us have meetings. He is very nice to me. I like him he knows i like him. He said he like me a little too, but he likes 3 other girls more than me. He also is just a sweet guy so he is nice to just about everyone he knows. Does he actually like me, or is he just saying he does? And is it ok that I like my best friend? If he does like me, what should I do? (I already asked him out and he said "I will not say yes and I will not say no") P.S. we always pick on each other. I will punch him in the arm and he will take my coat. Or he will put his coat over my head and take my books.

I can agree with the whole "scared of what might happen to our relationship as friends" thing. But he is still friends with hie ex-girlfriend. They talk. They don't like each other. When I asked him if he liked me, this is what he said. "Itty bit. On a scale of 1-10 about a 1.3" then the next day he said "it is a 1.4" I said that that was almost insulting. He said that I am ahead of most girls. He is really funny and makes jokes all the time. But he knows when to be serious. Like one time I was sad and he was like "if you need a shoulder to cry on, I'm here" I really like him. I asked him why he liked me. He said something that doesn't exactly say that he likes me more than a friend. he said "Because you have to deal with a lot of problems, but you do it with a smile." That, to me, is just an explanation of why he likes me as a friend. Am I right? Also, he doesn't believe that I like him. Even though I have told him about 4 or 5 times.

He came up behind me yesterday and kicked me in the butt. Is that flirting, or him being weird? Also he did that "Olive juice" thing where you mouth the words "olive juice" and it looks like they are saying "I love you" But he only did it to me. He didn't do that joke to anyone else. We also go up behind eachother and cover their eyes. But he does that to a lot of people. He was joking around today that it is gross when I flirt with him. I knew he was just joking around though. I can never tell what he is thinking. He is one of those people that dosn't show their emotions a lot. So I can't tell if he actually likes me.

I've liked him since october of 2005. I've tried liking other guys, but it doesn't work. I only like him.

look, whoever you are, its alright to like your bestfriend. Its happened to me (when my bestfriend was a girl). Thats what most serious relationships are, deep friendships. And he might like you, its very possible. Some guys are like that, and it isnt bad that he likes three over girls over you. the point is that he likes you, and in my personal opinion, thats a start. Everything takes time, give it time then, and itll work out. Good luck

Wow! Most likely he probably enjoys flirting w/ you but that's it, at least for now! If he really likes you as more than a friend, he'll ask you out, let him ask you, and he will IF he wants more than a friendship. Try not to read too much into things, it's hard I know!
